It is a semi-late variety that is cultivated over a large area in most of the plain areas of Romania.
This variety was created by INCDA Fundulea and has multiple qualities:
– resistance to frost;
– good tolerance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum);
– big height;
– high quality and production. Hay has special features:
– 19.85% protein;
– 1450 kcal / kg s.u.;
– 71% digestibility.
It has good perenniality and is recommended to be cultivated in a mixture with perennial grasses.
