Description
The Cezara alfalfa variety is registered in 2013 by INCDA Fundulea.
It is a synthetic, semi-late variety, with medium-sized plants when flowering.
Morphological characteristics: the flowers are very dark blue-violet, and the ones that are cream, white or yellow have a low frequency.
The regeneration capacity after being mowed is very good.
This variety is resistant to disease and overwintering. The nutritional value of the feed is very good (1,441 kcal net energy; 1.02 nutrient units meat: 72% digestibility coefficient). The crude protein content of the dry substance when stuffed is 21.62%. The durability is good: 3-5 years.
